Pastor’s Biographical Sketch

Pastor Dennis Gill comes to us as our interim pastor for the year 2007-8. He has pastored a variety of churches in Massachusetts, North Carolina and New Jersey for the past 30 years. He came to the Boston area in 1970 for his education at Boston University and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree (D.Min.) from his alma mater in 1995. While planting a church west of Boston, he met his wife Nancy. They have two grown children: their daughter, Johanna (Soyars), is married and residing in Princeton, New Jersey. Their son Andy is a recent college graduate and serving as a youth ministry intern in Danville, CA. During the week, Pastor Gill assists in ministries to pastors and church leaders throughout the New England region under the auspices of Vision New England. Pastor Gill’s ordination credentials are with the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA).
